A Mega Voter Awareness Campaign is being organized across across ten Lok Sabha constituencies of Maharashtra, which have had low voter turnout. The campaign is being organized by Regional Outreach Bureau, Pune (Maharashtra & Goa Region), Ministry of I&B, Government of India, in co-ordination with the office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra.

The campaign is being flagged off by Chief Electoral Officer, Maharashtra, Shri Ashwani Kumar; Director General (West Zone), Ministry of I&B, Shri R. N. Mishra; Director General, Bureau of Outreach Communication, M/o I&B, Shri Satyendra Prakash. Senior officials of Central Railway will also be present on the occasion. The flag-off ceremony will take place at CSMT Railway Station, Mumbai.
