The Code on Social Security, 2020 (36 of 2020) has been notified in the Gazette of India on 29.09.2020. Subsequently, the draft rules were also notified on 13.11.2020 inviting objections and suggestions from various stakeholders in terms of requirement of pre-publication under the various provisions of the Code on Social Security, 2020.

This Ministry is in receipt of comments on draft rules from various individuals, organisations, trade unions, employers association including from Indian Federation of App-based Transport Workers. All such comments are considered before finalizing the rules, as per pre-legislative policy of the Government.
