NGO’S With FCRA Clearance

Presently 22678 NGOs have either been granted a certificate of registration or given prior permission under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.  Details are given below:-

   Some reports are received from time to time that some NGOs were involved in activities which violated various provisions of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010.

 

This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai in a written reply to question in the Rajya Sabha today.
