Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation Successfully Organises Special Campaign 2.0 From 2nd - 31st October, 2022
The Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation has successfully organised Special Campaign 2.0 from 2nd October, 2022 to 31st October, 2022 in the secretariat and field offices under its administrative control. During the Special Campaign 2.0, several special cleanliness activities were conducted wherein senior officers and staff members participated with full enthusiasm and took keen interest in the drive. On several occasions, the cleanliness activities in the Department were monitored and supervised by officers at the highest level in the Department. The autonomous Institute, i.e., National Centre for Drinking Water Sanitation and Quality, under the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation also participated in Special Campaign 2.0 with full vigour and enthusiasm.

- Social media used expensively to promote Special Campaign and its activities
During the Implementation Phase of the Special Campaign from 2nd Oct., 2022 to 31st October, 2022, pendency in various categories such as VIP References, IMC References, State Government References, PMO References, Public Grievances and PG Appeals were disposed of efficiently and identified files were reviewed. As a result of special campaign, space of 600 square feet has also been generated.
The achievements made during the special campaign were uploaded on the SCDPM portal created by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. Social media was also involved for wide publicity of the campaign by uploading tweets on Twitter Handle.
