"Hon'ble Members, this is a proud moment for all of us. Our women boxers have created history in the Women's World Boxing Championship held in New Delhi, from 15th to 26th March, 2023, by winning four Gold Medals. Our congratulations to:
Ms. Nikhat Zareen
Ms. Lovlina Borgohain
Ms. Nitu Ghanghas, and
Ms. Saweety Boora
Their outstanding accomplishments will steer India's future to great heights inspiring and motivating the young aspiring athletes.
Their achievements are a culmination of sheer hard work, grit, determination and display of spectacular skills. These women Boxers have once again proved that this is an era of resurgence of 'Naari Shakti'.
माननीय सदस्यगण, अति प्रसन्नता का विषय है की हमारी नारी शक्ति ने अपनी गोल्डन फिस्ट (Golden Fist) से यह मुमकिन किया है, प्रतिद्वंदी की हवा निकाल दी है।
Their achievements reflect our continual impactful presence in the field of sports and athletics. On behalf of the whole House and my behalf, we share the joy of our countrymen.
We congratulate our accomplished women boxers and wish them all the success in their future endeavors.
