Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying initiated process for integration of various infrastructures of the Department with PM Gati Shakti-National Master Plan (PM GSNMP)
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, M/o Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India, has initiated the process for integration of various infrastructures of the Department with PM Gati Shakti-National Master Plan (PM GSNMP). As on date, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying has integrated its 12 breed improvement institutions ( 7 central Cattle Breeding Farms, 4 Central Herd Registration Scheme and Central Frozen Semen Production & Training Institute), 8 Regional Fodder Stations, 6 Animal Quarantine & Certification Services, 4 Central Poultry Development Organizations, Delhi Milk Scheme, Central Sheep Breeding Farm, Central Poultry Performance Testing Centre and Chaudhary Charan Singh - National Institute of Animal Health(CCS-NIAH) under its management located at various locations of the country with PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan digital platform.
The Department in consultation with various stakeholders is planning to integrate all the veterinary dispensaries, milk processing plants, chilling centres and infrastructure projects under various schemes of this department with PM Gati Shakthi NMP digital platform.
This information was given by Shri Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying in a written reply in Lok Sabha today.
