The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has extended greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh on the 25th Foundation Day of the state.

The Prime Minister said that Chhattisgarh, a state dedicated to nature and culture, is setting new benchmarks of progress. He noted that many areas once affected by Naxalism are now competing in development. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the hard work and enterprise of the talented people of Chhattisgarh will play a vital role in realising the vision of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).

In a X post, the Prime Minister said;

“छत्तीसगढ़ के अपने सभी भाई-बहनों को राज्य के स्थापना दिवस की 25वीं वर्षगांठ की अनेकानेक शुभकामनाएं। प्रकृति और संस्कृति को समर्पित यह प्रदेश आज प्रगति के नित-नए मानदंड गढ़ने में जुटा है। कभी नक्सलवाद से प्रभावित रहे यहां के कई इलाके आज विकास की प्रतिस्पर्धा कर रहे हैं। मुझे भरोसा है कि यहां के मेहनती और हुनरमंद लोगों की लगन और उद्यम से हमारा यह राज्य विकसित भारत के विजन को साकार करने में अहम भूमिका निभाएगा।”
