Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey informed Lok Sabha that DhartiAabaJanjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) launched by the Hon’ble Prime Minister on October 2, 2024, aims to saturate infrastructural gaps, improve access to health, education, Anganwadi facilities, roads, drinking water, electricity and providing livelihood opportunities to tribal people of 63,843 villages in 549 districts and 2,911 blocks across 30 States/UTs.

The DhartiAabaJanjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA)period is from 2nd October, 2024 to 31st March, 2029. The abhiyan'integrates 25 interventions across 17 Ministries. Key multi-sectoral interventions include:
