The Ministry of Tribal Affairs cordially invites the media to cover the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC) and Coal India Limited (CIL).

This landmark initiative, under CIL’s CSR support, aims to strengthen the quality of education in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) by providing enhanced learning opportunities, capacity building, and empowerment for tribal students.

The MoU signing will take place in the august presence of:

• Shri Jual Oram, Hon’ble Union Minister of Tribal Affairs
• Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister of Coal and Mines
• Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, Hon’ble Union Minister of State of Coal and Mines

The ceremony will be followed by a joint address to the media by the dignitaries.

This collaboration marks a vital step towards advancing India’s tribal transformation journey through quality education and empowerment of tribal youth.
