Media Advisory for 71st National Film Awards

The Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu will give away the Awards at the 71st National Film Awards Function, as per the following schedule:

Venue: Vigyan Bhawan

Date: September 23^rd, 2025

Time: 4.00 PM onwards

Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Railways, Electronics and Information Technology, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw and other senior dignitaries will be present on the occasion.

You are cordially invited to cover the event. Entry for media will be strictly as per the following guidelines:

• All media must arrive latest by 3 PM.
• We kindly request you to fill the Google Form( https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1g4fkrq5zWVh-xhu7DqOcAZ5O28RoDXpC8NJ1v8Lr4y0/edit )

under the appropriate category by 19th September 2025. The details submitted through the form will be reviewed at the appropriate level, following which invitations will be issued. (Please note that submission of the form is a prerequisite for consideration but does not guarantee a confirmed entry or invitation due to limited seats).

• Only one correspondent and one still photographer/cameraman will be allowed per news organization.

• Entry for media persons with equipment (still photographers and TV cameras) will be strictly on the basis of the PIB accreditation card.
• It is to be noted that since a limited number of still photographers are allowed, therefore photographers must provide their details to PIB on the Google Form mentioned above (Request in this regard does not guarantee the entry of still photographers).
• Entry for correspondents (agencies, print and electronic media) will only be through invitation cards issued by NFDC for this function.
• A limited number of invitation cards will be issued, and entry for still photographers will be allowed strictly on a first-come, first-served basis
• Correspondents from agencies, print and electronic media may collect invitation cards in person from Room No. 208, National Media Centre, till 5 PM, on 22^nd September, 2025. Cards may be collected either by showing your PIB accreditation, or a suitable letter of authorisation from your editor.
