Online Application for Renewal of PIB Accreditation Cads for 2026

All accredited journalists having valid PIB accreditation card-2025 and wishing to renew the same for the year-2026 are requested to fill the online form for Renewal of Accreditation for the year 2026. The applicant should log on the online system (accreditation.pib.gov.in) with the existing user ID and password to submit the application.

The following requirements of the system may please be noted:-

1.     Accreditations limited to residents of Delhi and NCR.

2.     Online submission of renewal application will be open form 29.09.2025 to 29.10.2025.

3.  The essential documents have to be uploaded online only while submitting the application. Any wrong/ irrelevant documents uploaded along with the application may cause the delay in processing or even rejection of the application for. Any request to consider the alternate documents instead of essential documents will not be entertained at any stage.

4. While applying for renewal-2026, schedule 2 of CMAG-2022 (accreditation.pib.gov.in) may be adhered to.    

5.     Editor’s recommendation letter in original has to be submitted in Room No. 12 A, Ground floor, National Media Centre (at the time of collecting PIB card) or any working day during the time of renewal. 

6.     Please keep username and password in safe custody. In case of misuse of your account inform PIB immediately.

7.     All correspondence relating to accreditation will be sent to you on the email given by you in the online application form.

8.   In case of any difficulty during the filling of the E-form, kindly contact at 011-23488123, between 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM & 2:00 to 4:00 PM on working days. You may also send any queries through e-mail at prs_pib@nic.in/prspib101@gmail.com.

9.    PIB has the right to ask for supporting or any other documents in physical/ online form at any stage, if found necessary. The decision of Pr. DG, PIB in this regard shall be final.
