As the Lok Sabha elections of 2024 advance into the fifth phase, the nation witnessed enthusiastic and inclusive participation in its democratic journey. In the latest phase, 8.95 crore electors across 49 Lok Sabha seats were eligible to vote in 94 thousand polling stations spread over 8 States/UTs.
In this phase, the spirited participation of various segments of society, including youth, divyang, and first-time voters, underscores the inclusive spirit of the electoral process. People came in traditional dresses and duty uniforms to celebrate the festival of democracy, adding a vibrant cultural hue to this important event.
