The Sports Authority of India (SAI) Regional Centre Gandhinagar will organise an edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle on 14 June 2026 across multiple locations in Gujarat and Rajasthan including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Jaipur, Bikaner and other locations.

This edition is dedicated to Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), a flagship programme of the Ministry of Education that aims to strengthen the connection between higher educational institutions and rural communities. Through active engagement with villages and schools, the initiative promotes educational awareness, community development and social responsibility.

In Vadodara, the cycling event will be organised at Fortune Palladium, Manjalpur, while in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, the programme will be conducted at the National Centres of Excellence (NCOEs) of SAI in collaboration with educational institutions and partner organisations.

The event will bring together students, educators, cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, youth volunteers and citizens from all walks of life to spread the message of fitness, unity, education and rural empowerment. Participants will cycle together to highlight the importance of healthy living while reinforcing the role of education in building stronger and more inclusive communities.

The UBA-themed edition seeks to encourage youth participation, strengthen the bond between educational institutions and rural India, and promote the shared vision of a healthy, educated and empowered nation. By integrating the objectives of the Fit India Movement and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, the initiative aims to inspire citizens to actively contribute towards nation-building.

The programme is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from educational institutions, community organisations, cycling groups and members of the public, further advancing the vision of Fit India and Viksit Bharat.

Citizens are invited to join the initiative and become ambassadors of fitness, education and community development.
