However, financial constraints can make it difficult for students from economically weaker families to meet the costs associated with tuition fees, books, travel and other educational requirements.

Demonstrating the importance of educational financial assistance, Anu Priya, a 20-year-old B.Tech. II Year student from the OBC category, has been able to continue her education with greater confidence and focus with scholarship support of ₹7,50,000/- provided during 2024–2026.

Coming from a financially weaker family in a rural area, Anu Priya faced difficulties in managing the expenses associated with higher education. Her family’s annual income was ₹99,000 earlier, making it challenging to regularly arrange money for tuition fees, books, travel and other study-related requirements. Limited access to quality educational resources and proper guidance in her rural setting added to the challenges.

Despite these difficulties, Anu Priya remained focused on her studies and career goals. She aspired to successfully complete her education, build a stable career, become financially independent, support her family and contribute positively to society through her profession.

Reducing Financial Burden and Strengthening Educational Aspirations

Scholarship assistance of ₹7,50,000/- provided through the NSP scholarship helped Anu Priya meet important educational expenses, including academic fees, books, study materials and other study-related requirements. The support significantly reduced the financial burden on her family and helped her continue her education without interruption.

The financial assistance also enabled Anu Priya to focus more effectively on her studies and career goals instead of being concerned about managing educational expenses. The support provided greater financial stability and confidence as she continued her B.Tech. education.

Currently, Anu Priya is pursuing her B.Tech. II Year and continuing her academic journey with greater confidence and motivation. Her family’s annual income is currently around ₹1,20,000, which remains limited in managing higher educational expenses. The scholarship support has therefore played an important role in helping her sustain her education despite financial constraints.

With continued determination and the support received through the scholarship, Anu Priya is working towards completing her education, building a stable career and becoming financially independent.
