The practice of deploying Suraksha Sahayaks with the officers of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) has been discontinued vide Ministry of Home Affairs order dated 06.03.2014

This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju in a written reply to question by Shri Sanjiv Kumar in the Rajya Sabha today.
