The Panvel to Indapur and Zarap to Patradevi sections of Mumbai – Goa (Panjim) Highway have been proposed or constructed as bituminous pavement. For the remaining length of the highway, new 4-lane or 2-lane carriageway has been proposed as cement concrete pavement and wherever existing 2-lane carriageway is retained, bituminous pavement has been proposed.
