The National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) is investigating the complaints as per the duties assigned to it by Article 338(5) of the Constitution.

Accordingly, the Commission sends its recommendations to the concerned authorities wherever deemed necessary.

The list of cases related to false caste certificate received in NCSC during last three years i.e. 2015-16, 2016-17 & 2017-18 related to the states is given below :
