Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar took oath as the new Governor of West Bengal at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata today.  The Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court, Justice T B N Radhakrishnan administered the oath to the new governor in presence of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, state ministers and other dignitaries

 

 

Shri Dhankar replaced Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi, who has completed his tenure on July 23^rd.

 

The new governor, who is also a noted Supreme Court advocate, met the vice-chancellors of Calcutta University, Jadavpur University, Presidency University and Visva-Bharati University on this occasion.
