Biopic to be streamed as tribute to Chandrashekhar Azad

In the momentous journey of awakening of India’s pride and self-belief during the freedom struggle, Chandrashekhar Azad, the great revolutionary, led a band of youth and ignited the flames of patriotism among the countrymen. Films Division is paying tribute to this great son of India on his death anniversary on 27th February, 2021 by screening a biographical documentary on Azad’s life and works. Directed by Purush Baokar, Chandrashekhar Azad (18 min./Hindi/ 1983) will be streamed on Films Division Website and YouTube channel for 24 hours.
The short biopic throws light on how the Jallianwala Bagh massacre moved Chandrashekhar Azad and how he whole heartedly plunged into the freedom struggle. The film will be streamed on https://filmsdivision.org/Documentary of the Week and https://www.youtube.com/user/FilmsDivision on 27th February, 2021, recalling the patriotic fervour, valour and selflessness of Chandrashekhar Azad.
