The total vaccinations across the country have crossed more than 13.22 crore mark today with more than 21.21 lakh vaccine doses administered till 8 pm.

The cumulative number of COVID19 vaccine doses administered in the country stands at 13,22,40,352 as per the 8 pm provisional report today.

These include 92,19,080 Healthcare Workers (HCWs) who have taken the 1st dose and 58,51,361 HCWs who have taken the 2nd dose, 1,16,28,882 Frontline Workers (FLWs) (1^st dose), 59,32,541 FLWs (2^nd dose), 4,43,89,584 for over 45 years old to 60 years old (1^st Dose), 16,28,837 for over 45 years old to 60 years old (2^nd dose), 4,78,44,204 for above 60 years (1^st Dose) and 57,45,863 for above 60 years (2^nd Dose).

Total 21,21,042 vaccine doses were given till 8 pm today, the Ninety Sixth day of nationwide COVID19 vaccination. Out of which 14,35,858 beneficiaries were vaccinated for 1st dose and 6,85,184 beneficiaries received 2nd dose of the vaccine as per the provisional report. Final reports would be completed for the day by late tonight.

In view of sudden spike in the demand for oxygen in some states due to an  exponential rise in the number of COVID patients admitted in the  hospital, the Union Government has increased the quota of Oxygen (in metric tonnes) in the following states:
