Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah inaugurated new police stations, police buildings and launched SHE Team and Setu Application in Ahmedabad Rural District of Gujarat through Video Conferencing.


Since Shri Narendra Modi became Chief Minister of Gujarat, much work has taken place with a long term view to change the law and order situation in the state.

Computerization of all police stations, interlinking them, enrichment of FSL, establishment of FSL University, establishment of Raksha Shakti University, creation of new Companies of State Reserve Police and ensuring that all recruitments take place on time every year have taken place

Whether it is Porbandar or the border area of ​​Kutch, Banaskantha or Dang and Valsad district bordering Maharashtra, law and order is working smoothly everywhere

Through the SHE TEAM and Doot Applications, both the security and surveillance of women will be strengthened

Law and order in Ahmedabad district, bordering around seven districts, has always been important for Gujarat

This work costing a total of Rupees 5.5. and security through it, will ensure the security of Ahmedabad district in the future

Gujarat is continuously moving ahead in the process of taking the number of vacancies to zero with about 61,000 recruitments, recruitment of 6,000 constables every year and recruitment of more than 1,000 PSI and Information Officers

Gujarat has the highest housing satisfaction ratio in the country, it has taken it to 87 percent. New posts have been created in this sector and new housing is also being created

            Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation Minister, Shri Amit Shah inaugurated new police stations, police buildings and launched the SHE Team and the Setu application in Ahmedabad Rural district of Gujarat today, through Video Conferencing. Many dignitaries including the newly elected Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel were also present on the occasion.

            In his address, Shri Amit Shah said that since Shri Narendra Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, much work has taken place with a long term view to change the law and order situation in the state. These include computerization of all police stations, interlinking them, enrichment of FSL, establishment of FSL University, establishment of Raksha Shakti University, creation of new Companies of State Reserve Police and ensuring that all recruitments take place on time every year. Shri Amit Shah said that riots during the Rath Yatra have now stopped, communal riots are no longer taking place in the state and the people of the state are experiencing peace.

            The Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation said that when he was here the last time, new projects such as 'Assurance and Vishwas' were started and both these projects are progressing very well. He expressed confidence that now both the security and surveillance of women will be strengthened through both the SHE Team and the Doot Application. Shri Shah said that Kerala and Sanand GIDC – the two important industrial places and the police stations of these areas cover the industrial labour catchment area ​​of Rajkot – Ahmedabad highway. He added that this area is a large production area for the industrial development of Gujarat and therefore the maintenance of law and order in this area is necessary for development of the state. He said that Ahmedabad district is adjacent to Gandhinagar and the law and order situation of this district adjoining the boundaries of about seven districts has always been important for Gujarat. The developmental works here, costing a total of Rs.5.5 crore and the security provided through them, will ensure the security of Ahmedabad district in the coming days.

He said that after our government was formed under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi in Gujarat, our governments headed by Anandiben Patel, Vijay Rupani and now Bhupendra Patel have strengthened law and order in a continual manner. The Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation said that whether it is Porbandar or the border area of ​​Kutch, be it Banaskantha or Dang and Valsad districts bordering Maharashtra, law and order is running smoothly everywhere and due to this, Gujarat is counted among the major states of the country in industrial development today.

            The Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation said that in addition to the good law and order situation, the work of reducing the burden on women safety and law and order through technology has also been done very well by the Gujarat government and trust, assured, Initiatives such as Body On Camera and Laser Guns are examples. 15 drone cameras have also been installed with night vision, along with this, about 61,000 recruitments for capacity building, 6,000 constables every year and recruitment of more than one thousand PSI and information officers, Gujarat is continuously moving ahead in the process of taking the number of vacancies to zero. Shri Shah said that the state government has also extended the support of the legal framework to the police team. The State Government has strengthened the hands of Gujarat Police, Marine Police and Urban Police through several Acts to take action against gangsters.

            Shri Amit Shah said that today it is a matter of special pleasure for him that all these works are going to be done in his constituency and he thanked the Gujarat Government and the Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Shri Shah expressed confidence that the Gujarat Police would be able to enforce law and order in Ahmedabad by using these facilities – law and order situation will be kept peaceful. He expressed hope that the Chief Minister of the state, Shri Bhupendra Patel, would also carry forward the culture of maintaining law and order in Gujarat under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
