Cycle rally by Central Industrial Security Force was flagged off today by Shri Milind Naik, Minister for Urban Development, Government of Goa. Milind Naik lauded the CISF for organizing the Cycle rally. He said that it is important to organize such activities to keep the consciousness of nationalism alive.

CISF cycle rally as part of Rashtryia Ekta Diwas celebrations commenced from Thiruvananthapuram will reach to Statue of Unity, Kevadia, Gujrat on 26th October. 16 riders are supported by staff of 25 CISF personnel. The rally from Thiruvananthapuram reached Goa on 11th October. The cyclists will reach Belgavi in the next stage of the journey. The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

Goa Police band consisting of 17 personnel played the band make the function colourful and enthusiastic. Guruprasad Rai; Deputy Commandant, Himanshu Shekhar; Traffic Manager were present on the occasion.
