Sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2021-22 series VII: Open for subscription

The sovereign Gold Bond Scheme 2021-22 series VII is open for subscription for the 25, October 2021 to 29, October 2021. The nominal value of the bond is Rs.4761/- (Rupees Four thousand seven hundred and sixty one only) per gram of gold.

The sale is open in all post offices under Chennai City Central Division which includes Thygarayanagar Head post office & Mylapore Head post office and 22 other Sub post offices. The sovereign Gold Bond is the safe and secured with the following benefits.

• The investor can invest maximum of 4kg and minimum of 1 gram in the sovereign Gold Bond Scheme.
• The investors will be compensated at a fixed rate of 2.50 percent per annum payable semi-annually.
• The tenor of the Bond will be for a period of 8 years with premature  closure facility after 5^th year.
• Bonds can be used as collateral for loans.

The investor can get the Sovereign Gold Bond by completing the application and submit the same in post office along with copy of Pan Card with Aadhar Card/Passport/Voter ID and first page of Bank passbook.
