Mumbai, 15 December 2021

 

Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh, AVSM, VSM, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C), Western Naval Command, paid his maiden visit upon assuming office to the Naval Base at Karwar on 14 and 15 December 2021. He was received by Rear Admiral Mahesh Singh, NM, Flag Officer Commanding Karnataka Naval Area (FOK) and presented a Guard of Honour.

During the visit, the FOC-in-C (West) reviewed the operational preparedness of ships and units at Karwar and was briefed on the progress of infrastructure development under Project Seabird. He also took stock of progress of the refit of aircraft carrier, INS Vikramaditya.
