Grievances pertaining to Maharashtra, Goa to be entertained in the Dak Adalat

Complaints reg. Speed Post, Saving Banks, non-payment of Money Orders etc. to be considered

Mumbai, 11th March 2022

In its efforts to redress grievances, Department of Posts, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai is holding Dak Adalat. The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, Mumbai will hold the 118th Dak Adalat on 17th March 2022, Thursday at 11.00 AM at his office at 2nd Floor, GPO building Mumbai - 400001.

Complaints/ grievances regarding Postal Services pertaining to the Maharashtra and Goa States which have not been settled within six weeks will be entertained in the Dak Adalat. The complaints relating to Unregistered / Registered Mails, Speed Post, Counter Services, Saving Banks and non-payment of Money Orders etc. will be considered during the Dak Adalat.

Complaints should contain details like names and designations of the officers to whom original complaint was addressed, particulars of articles/Money Orders / Saving Bank Accounts / Certificates etc.

The Department periodically organizes Dak Adalats to ensure speedy redressal of customer grievances.
