Union Minister of State for Tourism and Ports, Shipping and Waterways Shripad Naik today inaugurated Goa Premiere League Cricket Tournament organized by Summerset Sports Club at Arlem ground at Margao.

Sports have a vital role to play in life. It keeps us physically and mentally sound.  Sports has the ability to inculcate values in the youth, said Shripad Naik. To enhance the interest of the young generation in sports, Union Minister appealed to schools to nurture the sports talent from childhood. So that one can pursue a career in Sports.

Goa Premiere League a three day cricket tournament is organized by Summerset Sports Club. Winner of the tournament gets first prize of Rs. 5,00,00, Runners up 2,50,000 and Third prize is 1,50,000.
