Central Bureau of Communication Goa, Government of India is joining hands with 1 Goa Battalion NCC Panaji and All Goa Ex-servicemen Welfare Association to celebrate Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, 2022 to commemorate the victory of Indian Army in Kargil war.
As part of the program, DGP Goa Shir Jaspal Singh IPS, and Panaji Mayor Shri Rohit Monserrate will grace the occasion of wreath-laying ceremony at Martyrs Memorial at Azad Maidan, Panaji at 10 AM on Tuesday. Kargil veterans and ex-servicemen will also be present on the occasion.
After the floral tributes, the Mayor and the DGP will flag off a Tiranga rally which will start from the Azad Maidan and culminate at Government Youth Hostel, Campal.
There will be a gathering at the Youth Hostel in which Kargil veterans will be felicitated. Cultural programs will also take place at the program.
