The Scheduled Castes (SC) are notified under the provisions of Article 341 of the Constitution of India, under which there is no provision of exclusion of creamy layer.

30% of the National Overseas Scholarship awards for each year are earmarked for women candidates. Gender-wise data of selected candidates under National Overseas Scholarship for SC etc. for last five years is as follows:
