Commemorative postage stamp on Indian freedom fighter Ondiveeran will be released at a function in Tirunelveli on August 20, 2022.

Tamilnadu Governor Shri R. N. Ravi will release the stamp and address the gathering in the presence of  Union Minister of State for Communications Shri Devusinh Jesingbhai Chauhan, Union Minister of State for Social Justice Empowerment Shri A. Narayanaswamy and Union Minister of State for Information Broadcasting and Fisheries, Dairy Animal Husbandry
Dr L. Murugan.

The postal stamp will be received by the Governor of Telangana and Lt. Governor of Puducherry, Smt  Tamilisai Soundararajan who will deliver the special address.

State Tourism Minister Shri M. Madhivendhan, Chief Postmaster General, Tamilnadu circle, Shri S. Rajendra Kumar, MPs, MLAs and other dignitaries will participate in the event.

The function has been organised by Ondiveeran Desiya Peravai.
