The campaign 'Seller Samvad' organized by Government e Marketplace - GeM was launched today in Pune. This 15-day campaign is starting today in more than 150 major cities across India. The aim of this campaign is to provide detailed information about GEM Portal to the sellers across India, solve their problems and inform them about the benefits of getting involved with GEM, which acts as a linkage between sellers and government offices, who are customers. Representatives of 14 companies from Pune participated in this interactive initiative. There was more participation from start-up companies such as MyLab as well as several micro, small and medium enterprises too participated in this dialogue.

Ms. Manju Sharma, Additional Chief Executive Officer, GEM Delhi Office, along with Directors Anup Dhanvijay, Arpit Vajpayee, Vikramjeet Sharma and Business Coordinator of Maharashtra Mr. Nikhil Patil attended the function.

Ms. Manju Sharma said that Government e-Marketplace is an effective means of building a corruption-free and self-reliant India. She has also appealed that the maximum professionals should take advantage of this platform. She said that ‘Seller Samvad’ is organized to inform sellers about the benefits as well as encourage them to use GEM Portal. She said that, through this ‘Seller Samvad’, efforts will be made to reach more sellers in all states, interact with them, solve their problems and give them more benefits.

Sellers attending the event expressed satisfaction with their experience working with GeM. A representative of My Lab, a Pune-based start-up, informed that his company has acquired a business of Rs 300 crore since registering on GEM portal in 2018. Another seller, Shree Mahaveer Stationers from Pune, said that starting from a single pen, they have completed 150 orders within the next one and a half year.
