In view of the Special Campaign 2.0 “SWACHHATA HI SEVA” the O/o Controller of Communications Accounts (CCA), Maharashtra & Goa, Ministry of Communications, Government of India organized a PADYATRA and CLEANLINESS DRIVE at Juhu Beach on 17^th October 2022 in MUMBAI. All the officials of the Controller of Communication Accounts MH & Goa office participated in the Awareness initiative.

The PADYATRA was flagged off by Mrs. Vibha Govil Mishra, Controller of Communication Accounts (Maharashtra & Goa) from the O/o CCA, Maharashtra & Goa, Juhu Telecom Complex at 03.30 PM in presence of Mrs. Rashmi R D, Joint Controller of Communication Accounts and Shri. R S Warang Deputy Controller of Communication Accounts. Padyatra went on as per the designated route following all necessary instructions and COVID-19 protocol. During the Padyatra, the officials displayed various slogans, messages and placards for creating awareness.

The Padyatra culminated at Juhu beach, the officials enthusiastically participated in the Cleanliness Drive at Juhu Beach and conveyed the message of “SWACHHATA HI SEVA” Special Campaign 2.0. The general public also actively supported the officials and engaged in the Cleanliness drive.

Subsequently, Mrs. Vibha Govil Mishra, Controller of Communication Accounts (Maharashtra & Goa) from the O/o CCA, Maharashtra & Goa addressed the participants and conveyed the message of maintaining cleanliness in day to day life.

The Padyatra & Cleanliness drive was able to create a Positive atmosphere among all the participants and achieved the aim of creating awareness of cleanliness with the help of the staff of CCA (Maharashtra & Goa), and necessary support from Mumbai Police and BMC.
