More than 300 pensioners participated in the special campaign that was organised in West Tambaram in Chennai today for the submission of Digital Life Certificate through Face Authentication technique. The Pensioners were guided by the officials of Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare, Government of India on the procedure for downloading the Face Authentication Jeevan Pramaan App in their mobile phones and submit Life Certificate from their phones. The representatives of the registered Pensioners’ Association, All India Federation of Pensioners’ Association, Chennai along with their associate Pensioners Associations attended the camp.
The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Government of India has launched a nation-wide campaign for promotion of Digital Life Certificate for Central Government pensioners. Today’s event was organized in collaboration with State Bank of India and was attended by representatives of MeitY/NIC and UIDAI.
Similar campaigns will be organised by the department throughout the month of November and all pensioners are requested to avail this facility for submission of their life certificate.
The central team has requested all the pensioners to visit the official YouTube channel of the department – DOPPW_INDIA OFFICIAL, where two videos in English and Hindi have been uploaded explaining the process of submitting the Life Certificate through Face Authentication Technique in simple language.
