The Directorate of Lighthouses and Lightships, Goa conducted Yoga session for students on the occasion of 09th International Day of Yoga.  The event was aimed to promote the practice of yoga among the staff and their families, as well as the students of School. The session took place on 21st June, 2023 on 0800 Hrs at School Campus and Auditorium of Dr. KB Hedgewar High School, and it was a rejuvenating and enlightening experience for all participants.

With over 800 students from School participating, the yoga session was an invigorating experience. The event was led by qualified and experienced yoga instructors Capt. S. Shirodkar and his team, who guided the participants through various Asanas (postures) and breathing exercises. Students got the opportunity to learn about the significance of each pose and its impact on physical and mental health. 

The event also brings together the staff members and their families, fostering a sense of unity and well-being within the Directorate Office.
