It has come to the notice that FAKE selection orders are being issued to some job seekers among the members of the public by some unscrupulous and fraudulent persons with ulterior motive to earn wrongful gain and/or cheat the prospective job seekers and are fraudulently offering jobs online through certain websites, social media, or by issuing fake offer letters and soliciting them to pay money. These people are unauthorisedly using the name trademark and logo of India Post with duplicitous signature with a view to tarnish the image of the Department.

In this regard, all general public and job seekers are requested to check the veracity of the selection orders.

India Post follows a formal recruitment process for selection of officials by strict process of merit through examination conducted through Staff Selection Commission/Department of Posts.

Further India Post does not ask, solicit and accept any money in any form from the candidates, job applicants, potential job seekers who have applied or wish to apply to us whether online or otherwise as a pre-employment requirement. India Post bears no responsibility for amounts being deposited/withdrawn therefrom in response in such fake offers.

India Post strongly recommends that potential job seekers should not respond to such fake solicitations in any matter and if you receive any unauthorized suspicious or fraudulent offers or interview call, please communicate the same to us through an email vig.tn@indiapost.gov.in

If the jobseekers believe that they have been a victim of recruitment fraud they can approach the law enforcing agencies immediately and shall not accept any liability towards the representation made in any fraudulent communication or its consequences, and such fraudulent communication shall not be treated as any kind of offer or representation by India Post.
