National Institute of Technology Trichy students have once again achieved victory in the overall championship for powerlifting at the All India Inter NIT Football and Power sports Championship, which took place at NIT Durgapur from November 3^rd to November 4^th 2023. A Total of 29 NITs participated in this tournament. The students from NIT-Trichy demonstrated their excellence by securing 3 Gold and 1 Bronze in the powerlifting Championship. Minister of State for Education Dr. Subhas Sarkar, acknowledged and commended the students for their outstanding performance, presenting the Overall trophy for Powerlifting Championship to NIT Tiruchirappalli.
