On November 24, 2023, Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and Haryana Police Academy (HPA) solidified their commitment to joint endeavours in training, research, education, affiliation, and other related activities through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed by Dr. Shishir Kumar Gupta, Registrar of RRU, and Dr. C.S. Rao, IPS, Additional Director General of Police/Director of HPA.

The signing ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries from Haryana Police Academy, including Dr. Rajshri Singh, IPS, Inspector General; Shri. Sanjay Kumar, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Administration; Smt. Pushpa Khatri, SP; Shri. Arvind Hooda, Deputy Director of Forensic Science Laboratory in Madhuban; Cdr. Manoj Bhatt (Retd.), Director-Affiliation and Accreditation at RRU; and Mr. Raghunaathen, Nodal Officer for National Security Organizations at RRU. Additionally, several other senior officers from the academy were also present to witness this significant collaboration.

Prof Bimal N Patel, the Vice Chancellor of Rashtriya Raksha University, believes that this partnership between Rashtriya Raksha University and Haryana Police Academy marks a pivotal moment in the advancement of law enforcement training and research in India.
