The 2nd edition of Kasi Tamil Sangamam concluded on Saturday. At the program organized at Namo Ghat, Union Minister of State for Education Dr. Subhash Sarkar, Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Ayush Minister in Uttar Pradesh Government Dayashankar Mishra, Minister for Stamp and Court Registration Fees in Uttar Pradesh Government (Independent Charge) were present. Ravindra Jaiswal, Director of IIT (BHU) Varanasi including Professor PK Jain and many distinguished guests attended the event.

    

On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Education, Dr. Subhash Sarkar said that as we have gathered here in the ancient city of Kashi on this important occasion of concluding session of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, we find ourselves at the confluence of two rich cultural streams of Kashi and Tamil Nadu., but let's see, which has been flowing in the tapestry of our country for centuries. Dr. Sarkar further said, “I would like to start my address with a verse from “Kashipanchakam”. Kashiyan Hi Kashte Kashi Kashi Sarvapravar Kashika. Sa Kashi Vidita Yen Tane Praptahi Kashika.” That means Kashi shines with the light of enlightenment. He said that this initiative of Kasi Tamil Sangamam has not only broadened the horizons of the students but has also laid the foundation of a harmonious and unified India. Furthermore, the National Education Policy 2020, with its visionary policy, emphasizes diversity and the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat – Shreshtha Bharat’.

    

On this occasion, Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs, Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan Singh said, “I am very happy to see all of you in the concluding session. The second edition of Kasi Tamil Sangamam is not actually a continuation, but the beginning of the Prime Minister's vision of 'One India, Best India', the spirit of which holds the potential to re-strengthen the unity and integrity of the country. Kashi Tamil Sangamam both antiquity and modernity represent. He said that India is a laboratory of cultural confluence to re-establish the age-old relations between two historically important regions”. “Our rich culture is a unique blend that preserves the traditions of our country while adapting to the rapid progress taking place across the world”, he further added.

    

State Government AYUSH Minister Dayashankar Mishra said that Bhoot Bhavan greets the Tamil delegates in Kashi, the city of Lord Shankar. “It's closing day. I will talk about 6 thousand years old; Maharishi Agastya was the first traveler who traveled across all three oceans. He was the first travelers who traveled from north to south. The hill of Vindhyachal reduced its height and the sage crossed the mountain. Reached South India. Siddha is a popular genre of South India” he added.

    

The father was Maharishi Agastya. When Adi Shankaracharya came to Kashi from Tamil Nadu, this city of Shankara gave him the knowledge of Advaita. Minister for Stamp and Court Registration Fees (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal said, “people across India came to know that our food and clothing may be different, but we all Indians will be the same”. IIT-BHU Director Prof. P. K. Jain said that in the past, a continuous stream of culture flowed on the banks of Ganga. The people of Tamil Nadu and Kashi took advantage of this with great joy.
