Customs Clearance of commercial exports through India Post has been made online through Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra Web Portal since Dec’ 2022.

Commercial exporters can utilise this web portal and get the Let Export Order without any hassles.

Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra Facilitation Centre (அஞ்சலக ஏற்றுமதி சேவை மையம்) has been opened by Tamilnadu Circle at the First Floor of O/o the Superintendent, Foreign Post, Chennai 600 001 on 25.01.2024 to facilitate the growth of export market in Tamilnadu. This centre will assist Exporters and International logistics Aggregators.

This Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra Facilitation Centre of Tamilnadu Circle has been inaugurated by Ms. B.P. Sridevi, Postmaster General (Mails & BD) and Shri. G.Natarajan, Postmaster General, Chennai City Region of Tamilnadu Postal Circle. On opening ceremony, officers including Superintendent, Foreign Post of Tamilnadu Postal Circle also participated.

The objective of the Centre is to handhold Small Scale entrepreneurs, artisans and weavers and Start-ups so that they can navigate the export market.

India Post will help these exporters to transmit their articles to markets all over the world at a very reasonable price. India Post will also help in increasing export revenue of the country by educating and assisting the afore-mentioned groups.

This Centre will upskill the aspirational exporters by conducting regular workshops both online and offline in collaboration with Departments of State and Central Government, MSME, Self Help Group Facilitators and Non- Governmental Organizations, This centre will act as a monitoring unit for post-booking requirements by the exporters such as query resolving, uploading of Invoices and other Additional documents requested by Customs.
