National Institute of Technology Puducherry has celebrated the 75th Republic day in the campus premise at 8.15 am. Dr. Usha Natesan, Director (In-Charge) hoisted the National flag, and received the guard of honor from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and SIS Security Services.

Dr. Usha Natesan, Director (In-Charge) in her speech, described about the importance of sovereign republic and the achievements of Indians with pride. She also highlighted the significance of Republic Day and the purpose of celebrating it.

In this function, students cultural events were conducted. Dr. S. Sundaravarathan, Registrar (NIT Puducherry), Dr. Narendran Rajagopalan, Dean (Student Welfare), Faculty, Staff and Students were participated in the event. At the end of the function sweets were distributed.
