The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy) successfully hosted its annual alumni meet, IIMpressions 2024, spanning from the 26^th to the 28^th of January 2024. This three-day event served as a remarkable reunion, bringing together alumni from diverse graduating batches, with particular significance placed on commemorating the 10-year reunion of the Class of 2013.

On the 26th of January, the event kicked off with an Inauguration Ceremony, during which dignitaries initiated the proceedings with the traditional lighting of the lamp. Following this ceremonial tradition, Dr. Pawan Kumar Singh, Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli, delivered an insightful address. In his speech, the Director encapsulated the remarkable journey of the institute over the past decade, urging the alumni to reflect on their personal and professional growth.

The Director emphasized the special role that alumni play as ambassadors of their alma mater, stressing the importance of discovering one's niche and purpose while responsibly contributing to societal development. Furthermore, he addressed the impact of technology on the evolving professional landscape and underscored the significance of ethical decision-making. The Director's words aimed to inspire the alumni to continue their journey with a sense of purpose and responsibility in their respective fields.

Professor K. S. Manikandan, Chairperson of Alumni Relations, delivered the Welcome Address, underscoring the pivotal role that alumni play as stakeholders in the success of the Institute. He specifically acknowledged the decade-long association of the Class of 2013 since their graduation.

As part of the Inauguration Ceremony, the bi-annual alumni newsletter, Alumni Digest, was unveiled. This publication serves as a platform to keep alumni connected with the current developments at IIM Tiruchirappalli and highlights the noteworthy achievements of our esteemed graduates. Additionally, mementos were presented to all participating alumni during the ceremony. Nikita Mittal, Secretary of the Alumni Committee, extended the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees for their presence and participation in the event.

Day 1 of IIMpressions 2024 concluded with an Alumni-Faculty interaction and engaging games, fostering camaraderie among the attendees. The following day, Day 2 commenced with a spirited sports session involving alumni, faculty, and current students. A unique 'Back to Classroom' session saw alumni actively participating in a case discussion, gaining valuable insights and reflecting on their academic journeys.

Dr. Rakesh Godhwani, Founder and CEO of the School of Meaningful Experiences, addressed the alumni in a Guest Speaker session, providing guidance and perspectives for their future endeavors. The day concluded with a Cultural Evening and Lakeside Dinner, graced by Dr. Prafulla Agnihotri, the 1st Director of IIM Tiruchirappalli and the current Director of IIM Sirmaur. The Cultural Evening featured captivating student performances, and the Lakeside Dinner provided a networking opportunity for attendees to reminisce and build connections.

Day 3 included a visit to the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli, aiming to evoke nostalgia as IIM Tiruchirappalli operated on NIT Tiruchirappalli's campus before establishing its present location.

IIMpressions 2024 concluded on a poignant note, leaving attendees with a renewed sense of connection and shared memories. IIM Tiruchirappalli expresses heartfelt gratitude to all participants for contributing to the success of IIMpressions 2024, making it a truly memorable and enriching experience.
