India Clinches 2 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals at the 13th European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) 2024 in Tskaltubo, Georgia

Indian team has shown a commendable performance at the 13th European Girls’ Mathematical Olympiad (EGMO) 2024 held in Tskaltubo, Georgia from April 11 - 17, 2024.
The 4-member Indian team secured 2 Silver and 2 Bronze medals.
The medallists are as follows:
The team was led by Shri Sahil Mhaskar (Leader), Ms. Aditi Muthkhod (Deputy Leader), and Ms. Ananya Ranade (Observer), all from the Chennai Mathematical Institute, whose guidance and support have been instrumental in the team's success. This achievement marks the second instance of all four contestants securing medals at EGMO since India's debut in 2015. TIFR-Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), which is India's nodal centre for Olympiad programmes in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, and junior science, has attributed this success to the dedicated efforts of past medallists, as well as the structured training provided through the EGMO Training Camp (EGMOTC) by HBCSE and continuous support provided by National Board for Higher Mathematics (Department of Atomic Energy(DAE), during this Olympiad Program.
The Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE)-TIFR, a premier autonomous institution under the purview of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, serves as the pivotal hub for identifying, nurturing, and preparing talented students for participation in prestigious international Olympiads in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy, and Mathematics. Endorsed and generously supported by the Government of India, HBCSE meticulously conducts the National Olympiad Examination, the gateway for aspirants to advance through various stages and secure a coveted spot in the final team.
The Indian delegation to the EGMO 2024 is expected to arrive in Mumbai in the small hours of Thursday, April 18, 2024. To celebrate their achievement a felicitation function will be held in Room G1, Main Building, HBCSE at 11:30 AM on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
