1.    Applications are invited for the grant of financial assistance to the children of Beedi/Cine /Limestone &Dolomite Mine Workers for the Academic Year 2024-25, studying in Class I and above.

2.    Every student must have Aadhar-linked individual Saving Bank Account in any Nationalized / Scheduled / Co-operative / Grameen /private Bank, having Core Banking System (CBS) and National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) facilities.

3.    The One Time Registration (OTR) process is mandatory for the submission of scholarship applications to benefit from the Ministry's Scheme - Financial Assistance to the wards of Beedi, Cine, and Non-Coal Mine Workers. Please note that Aadhaar is mandatory for completing the OTR, and payments will be disbursed exclusively through the Aadhaar Payment Bridge (APB) system, not via traditional bank account payments.

4.The application should be submitted online by all the applicants through the website scholarships.gov.in as per the guidelines available on the website.

5.    Active contribution of the Head of Educational Institutions is required to carry out this task. They are to register their School/College in the National Scholarship portal, scholarships.gov.in to scrutinize the applications submitted by the students, approve it and submit it online through their registered ID before the due date, failing which the applicant would not be eligible for scholarship and the head of the institution would be held responsible for the same.

6.    The scholarship applicant should also grant consent to the Welfare Commissioner regarding use of Aadhar Number for availing the benefits under the scholarship scheme. 

7.   Income certificate & Beedi / cine ID card must be uploaded along with the application.
