Jaipur, the state capital, is located in the northern part of India, in the state of Rajasthan. Jaipur is part of the Golden Triangle tourist circuit, along with Delhi and Agra, and is famous for its rich history, palaces, forts, and vibrant culture.

Jaipur is a premier tourism destination that captivates visitors with its rich cultural heritage and architectural marvels. Known as the "Pink City," Jaipur is famous for its vibrant pink-hued buildings that adorn the bustling streets of its old quarters. Key attractions such as the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall, Jal Mahal, Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, and Nahargarh Fort showcase the city's royal past, meticulous architecture, and awe-inspiring artistry. Additionally, natural and man-made water bodies like the Aravalli hills, Man Sagar Lake, Maota Lake, Hanuman Sagar Lake, Taal Katora, and various Baolis enhance the city's landscape, serving as picturesque backdrops and foreground that complement its cultural heritage.

Jal Mahal, or Water Palace, is a stunning architectural marvel located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur. Built in the 18th century, it showcases a blend of Mughal and Rajput architectural styles. The palace has five floors, of which four remain submerged in the lake, creating a picturesque reflection against the water.

The vision of the Development at Jal Mahal, Jaipur project is to “Harness, strengthen, and qualitatively elevate the existing tourism pattern, intertwining new age expectations with curated tangible and intangible cultural heritage, all encapsulated in one and contiguous iconic experience”.  The project aims to elevate the existing tourism experience with curated tangible and intangible cultural heritage, all encapsulated in one and contiguous iconic experience.  The major components of this project, with an estimated cost of Rs. 96.61 Cr., include Man Sagar Aeration, Promenade Development, Nature Trail, Landscaping, Craft-Cuisine-Celebration (3C) Night Bazar, ‘Ghumro’ Synchronized Water Ballet Show, Ridge walk and Skywalk from Gadh Ganesh to Baldev Parsuram Temple.
