Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan visited the Bengaluru Doordarshan Kendra today i.e. 18.05.2025. The minister inspected various departments of the Doordarshan  Kendra, reviewed the staff's work, and held detailed discussions with senior officials to assess the progress and developments taking place at the Doordarshan Kendra.  Additionally, the minister gave instructions and guidance on maintaining cleanliness.

Senior officials present during the visit included Shri S.G. Ravindra, Additional Director General of PIB, Bengaluru, Shri Hanumantha, DDG, DDK and Shri Bhagyawan, Deputy Director General of Doordarshan Kendra, Shri B.A. Keshavamurthy, Head of News Division, DDK and Smt. H.N. Aarthi, Head of Programme Division, DDK.

As part of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's campaign of 'ek ped maa ke naam',  Dr. L. Murugan planted a sapling on the Doordarshan Kendra premises and watered it and  extended his best wishes.
