With the efforts of Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam, Shri Krishna Kumar, IAS, continuous efforts are being made towards sustainable development of tribal under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) an initiative of the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India in the district of Jiribam through the District Administration where 3 tribal villages namely; Jairolpokpi, Chotobekra and Bhutangkhal have been identified.

Various schemes/programmes under different Ministries have been also been taken up by the District Administration and the concerned line Departments so far such as PMAY, MGNREGS, Kishan Credit Card(KCC), PM KISAN, IGOAPS, IGWPS, IGDPS, ICDS, Jan Dhan Account, Ayushman Bharat(PM-JAY), PMSBY, Jal Jeevan Mission, Aadhar Card, Ration Card, Caste Certificate, Domicile Certificate etc. Gaps have been indentified in these villages and efforts are being taken up to check the saturation level.

The concerned line Departments under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam have started working in co-ordination to deliver the benefits under various schemes in these 3 identified villages. Special drive will be carried out in the above 3 villages to create more awareness about different schemes and programmes, also to identify gap, if any to fill with the help of different line Departments under Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA).
