The Staff Selection Commission (SSC), has announced open Competitive Computer Based Examination named “Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2025” in all over the country on 12 August 2025. 

This examination is being conducted for direct recruitment to Group “B” Non-Gazetted post of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Hindi Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Sub Inspector (Hindi Translator). Number of vacancies is 437 approximately.. The last date of receiving online applications on website of the Commission http://ssc.gov.in is 26 June 2025 (23:00 hrs).

SSC has also announced an open Competitive Computer Based Examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Stenographer grade “C” (Group “B”-Non Gazetted) and Stenographer grade “D” (Group “C”) in various ministries/departments/organizations  including their attached offices, subordinate offices and statutory bodies of Government of India located at various states and UTs. Number of vacancies is 261 approximately.

This Computer based examination (Paper-I) will be held in 06 Aug 2025 to 11 Aug 2025. Exact date of exam will be informed later through SSC website. Those who will be shortlisted in Computer Based Examination, will be required to qualify in Skill Test in Stenography in English/Hindi.
