Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, will be in Bengaluru on 10th July 2025 (Thursday) will attend two key engagements central to India’s last-mile connectivity and telecom future.

At 11:30 AM, the Minister will address the Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) Sammelan at Town Hall, Bengaluru, recognizing the critical role of over 2.67 lakh GDS as the backbone of rural postal delivery and financial inclusion. Later, at 3:15 PM, he will chair a review meeting of the Bharat 6G Alliance at the Taj Bangalore. The review will assess progress across the seven working groups as India accelerates efforts to lead in next-generation telecom technologies.

He will also inaugurate the VTU-VRIF -Telecom Centre of Excellence at 9:30 AM and visit ITI in Doorvani Nagar at 1:30 PM.

All events and engagements underscore the Ministry’s commitment to digital empowerment and innovation-driven growth across the country.
