An awareness session on SPREE 2025 and the ELI scheme was organized at the ESIC Sub-Regional Office, Bommasandra, for employers falling under the jurisdiction of this Sub-Regional Office. The programme was presided over by Smt. A. S. Kanithaselvi, Joint Director (I/c). Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Assistant Director; Shri Vishwanath, Branch Manager (I/c), HAL; and other officials were also present.

The session aimed at disseminating key information related to the following initiatives:

• Special Registration Drive – SPREE 2025
• Amnesty Scheme 2025
• PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (ELI Scheme) 2025

Employers were sensitized about the objectives, benefits, and compliance requirements under each of these schemes. The event served as an interactive platform, allowing employers to raise queries, which were addressed with detailed clarifications on various scheme provisions.

Key Highlights of the Schemes:

• Under the SPREE 2025 initiative, employers can register themselves under the ESI Act without fear of past claims or pending actions, during the period from 1st July 2025 to 31st December 2025.
• The Amnesty Scheme 2025 will provide a one-year window starting from 1st October 2025, aimed at reducing litigation and promoting compliance under the ESI Act.

• The PM Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (ELI Scheme) 2025 will be effective for two years starting from 1st August 2025, with the objective of incentivizing the creation of over 3.5 crore jobs.

The primary objective of the awareness drive was to promote greater employer participation and ensure wider coverage of eligible beneficiaries under the ESI Scheme through proper registration and reporting mechanisms.
