Replying to an un-starred question of Dr. Manna Lal Rawat, the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey informed Lok Sabha today that a total of 123 EMRSs were functioning in the country till 2013–14.

A total of 555 EMRSs have been sanctioned by the Government from 2014-15 to till date, out of which 312 EMRSs have been made functional by the State Government . Out of these 555 EMRSs , construction of building for 211 EMRS has been completed and 344 EMRSs are in under construction stage.
