Replying today an un-starred question of Shri Brijkmohan Agarwal the Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uikey informed Lok Sabha today that
Autonomous organizations under Ministry of Tribal Affairs:
Tribal Co-Operative Marketing Development Federation of India Limited (TRIFED)
- National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS)
Non-autonomous organizations under Ministry of Tribal Affairs:
- National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC)
- National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST)
The details of the funds disbursed to SCAs by NSTFDC and the number of direct beneficiaries under the schemes of NSTFDC such as Term Loan, AMSY, ASRY and MCS during the last five financial years, State-wise including Chhattisgarh is given at Annexure. As on 31.07.2025, National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) is monitoring a total of 485 EMRSs functioning across the country. State-wise enrolment in EMRSs, including Chhattisgarh, in last 3 years and current year is as under:
